Fwb Sport Mk1 Baptism.

Recommended Posts

Well lads I re-mounted the Tasco 4x40 scope after cleaning the barrel again.

I made sure of no cant, and set her up precisely again.

The patches first came out filthy but after changing the patches for clean ones and pulling through a good half dozen times she became spotless.

So next was to shoot her but with the new internal piston seal, breech seal, new spring and re-lube, there`s a lot of settling down to do.

At first she was very erratic grouping badly

After a good 150 shots she started to show some settling down and then would loosen up again.

By the time a good 200 shots were through her I managed this group

So softly, softly - she needs running in I`m hoping but the spread will reappear I`m sure :hmm:.

Hopefully just some mild dieseling going on.

That rifle will come good. I can already see an improvement from those pics.

Like my old dad once told me - there's many a good tune played on an old fiddle ;)

Anyway, what's with the drawings????

Only a poxy circle???

Where's the pigeon drawings? And the drawings of blokes in a hat?
