Guest foxpack Posted October 16, 2016 Report Share Posted October 16, 2016 Weather was a bit of change today .starting off raining .then sunshine.but we all can't wait for fair weather.first fox was lifted and went straight into a massive forestry block.1 lad had a shot at him .but cleanly missed.2 ND fox was in and out of a big fern bank .using every trick in the book to avoid the bushers.which he did .running a beck edge and ending up in a massive earth.3rd fox of the day was on a big gorse bank .he left 3 times and back in then fell to the gun at a back spot.great day out . My youngest son.loves it.loves been out in the fells .and loves his sleep on way home haaa 8 Quote Link to post

Guest foxpack Posted October 31, 2016 Report Share Posted October 31, 2016 Last weekend we Knocked 4 foxes out of a massive fell side wood.foxes had the upper hand .as all the bracken was still up .so the guns couldn't see for a clear shot.so they are a stay of execution till the bracken dies back. Dogs done very well .as the spot is massive .I can go up high and watch foxes sneeking about with dogs hunting them. This weekend we had a favour to do for a farmer friend.foxes have been amongst his young chickens and killed more than half his young stock.we done a massive gully full of bracken and gorse.fox was found and pushed towards a gun .gun missed .fox back in and away out of back door. 2ND spot was small spot with broken down trees and bracken .fox was found straight away .ran towards waiting gun and cleanly dispatched.1 happy farmer. 5 Quote Link to post
