Loads here ,there's a culvert/stream runs through the housing estate,loads in there,kids fish for them in summer, not my kids though.

Next door had a pond been couple of months though. I didn't want to release it back into the garden incase it wandered into chicken pen.

That's a spare washing up bowl I tipped it out into,it was a shallow ceramic bowl it must of climbed into,like I said next door had a pond,maybe it came from there looking for pastures new.

We're lucky here for them too. We get a lot of palmates in my local wood and saw my first great crested this year on the local farm.

they only come to the ponds to breed mate..it would have left the water and will be on the land looking for somewere to get in for the winter..
