Hunting is a family tradition in my case and I remember going out in the nature since when I was only a small child. I like old hunting weapons and I have one shotgun (16/70 Merkel Suhl from 1963) for small game and also mixed-bag driven hunts. I also have an old ZB rifle in 7x57 (or .275 Rigby) from 1947 for deer hunting and a lever-action Winchester in .45-70 for big game driven hunts (mostly wild boars). I go hunting in the entire country because we have a variety of ecosystems and we are able to hunt everything from quails, rabbits and waterfowl in the plains up to red stags, wild boars, wolves and bears in the mountains. Mi favorite area remains the one close to my home - the hills near to Carpathian mountains. The red stag season just started in Romania and the show was fantastic in my first night (5 stags roaring near me). But the wolves started to chase them an now is no roar in my area.
