Gaz_1989 9,539
I know it's not possible for everyone but I've found moving the hutch into the garage has helped. I've hung a couple of them fly strips just by the hutch and they have worked a treat. Can feed meat like its winter and only the odd fly makes it into the garage and ends up on the fly strip. 1 Quote Link to post

Guest vin
some cracking fly screens in poundland with the sticky grip stick to line the frame and very fine mesh to keep flies out...perfect for hutches and you can cut to size and pull them off when not needed and use again...bargain. I've also got an electric fly killer in my garage..i switch that on at night and it kills loads. Quote Link to post

The one 8,589
Basic hygiene we feed last thing at night and move the remains in the morning , a sterling fly trap each end of the hutches and a jam jar with a pierced lid with some jam in it on top and at least once a week wash down the slabs the hutch sits on with a scented bleach Quote Link to post
Jamie m 668
Just smear your face in honey ?? that should keep them away from hutches ????? Quote Link to post
