Pure Saluki Pups, Ireland ?

Recommended Posts

Theres lots of tiny fields in ireland owned by smallholders that are more suitable for sprinter type dogs which is probably why salukis arent as common unlike the larger expances of fens and large estates in the uk that would suit the breed better for stamina.

Anyone planning a pure litter in Ireland lol

Have you tried stand up comedy?

Comparing spaniels and other gun dogs to Salukis is like comparing chalk and cheese, I've never had any problems with stock worrying or recall for that matter and to suggest a dog that has been unchan

Them hyrogliphics and paintings were of Greyhounds DB

They then interbred with Mongrol type desert dogs resulting in the differing types of Saluki and Sloughi.

If you say so MaX now you say Greyhounds are an older breed than Salukis LOL crack on.

I would love to own a good pure or see one work, I am jealous of db and you lads who have good salukis, what I would give! I have heard db mention in the past they were even used to hunt wolf, I would love to see that! In saying that people seem to also have great success crossing them too, and I love seeing and reading about the mixes. No need to get upset db... Run your pures and if you offered free stud of your best male like max would be ok too.

Lack of Salukis down under but plenty of spoons, why would I want a lining from dogs that are useless for what I do ?

You misunderstood, I want you to offer free linings from your best male. You could send some straws over here too.

How do you know greyhounds are useless at what you do how many have you seen run Hares ?

Another a non chaser off the track I took coursing

For someone back around 2002-3 was well capable on hares .

Nikey that I loaned out to Fuji mopped rabbits up local on the lamp and retrieved like a spaniel naturally.

We wouldn't be where we are now re any cross of lurcher without the greyhound DB.

Probably more than you Max is the answer

Arctic ' DB as Salukis go how good is that blood that flows thru that Nero x Doris bitch we have here ?

You will only know when they get out on the land how good they are Max. On paper she has all the right ingredients so a good place to start. Is she from Snickers litter? hes turning into a nice handy animal
