Triple G Vs Brook

He was heavier than GGG in there, he's been killing himself to make 147lb. You tell me how he makes Welterweight yet kept his strength, I'm guessing because of a really good nutritionist.....

Any other fighter at Middleweight and he'd have been in with a real shout. He faced an ATG in the making. It was not the size that lost him the fight.

He makes welterweight the same way any other fighter makes weight....making weight is a science do you think Kell Brook is the only fighter who cuts weight ?.........ive got a lad cutting 15 lb for a kick boxing contest next weekend done correctly he,ll be fine but that doesnt mean he should fight in a higher weight division......if size had no bearing on last nights fight are we to presume Brook cant punch or Golovkin has a granite chin ?.....most top middleweights would of taken Brook into the later rounds where weight plays a big part but Golovkin did what Golovkin does.
He cut weight to make Middleweight, he was bigger than GGG at the weigh-in and on the day of the fight. Golovkin hasn't felt the need to cut to a lower weight, he could if he killed himself like Brook was doing to make 147lb.

Brook can punch, it's just he was punching a brick wall. The man's chin is pure granite and he's a warrior through and through. Brook would be a nightmare for any Middleweight not named Golovkin, he's that good.

Just because Brook was bigger at the weigh in or on the day of the fight doesnt mean he is the bigger man i dont think you fully appreciate how cutting weight works......in a million years Golovkin couldnt make welterweight,Brook can make welterweight it really is that simple.....without sounding impolite are you not the chap who thinks every fighter who adds or loses lots of weight quickly is on steroids :D

In very very simple terms cutting weight is predominantly about losing water weight, first you have to lose sodium/salt as its salt that holds onto water in the body so by flushing the body of salt through a very high intake of water and then from 24 - 36 hours before weigh in you dehydrate your body starts to pull away from water and you virtually piss away the pounds.......obviously thats a very simplistic example but im simply making the point that Brook fought well above his natural fighting weight and probably gained no more than 1 - 2 lb in actual muscle tissue to fight Golovkin.

Who said Brook is the bigger man?

He was the bigger man on the weigh in and on the day of the fight, GGG walks around 170lb so he cuts around 10lb to make weight. He's not a massive Middleweight by any means. He's never attempted to make Welterweight, because he hasn't doesn't mean he could never. Seeing Tommy Hearns at 34 would you have said he could have made Welterweight?

Golovkin agreed to fight at 154lb and said he could make the weight easily....

I know steroids help you perform at levels that would not be possible naturally with such low body fat and that's a fact.

He was NOT the bigger man at the weigh in or on the day of the fight....he just weighed more !!.......if Carl Frampton weighed more than Golovkin on the day of a fight does that make him the bigger man ?

At the check weigh in a month before the bout im told Brook was up around 180 to Golovkins 165.....he still wasn't the bigger man !......Brook had to lose a lot of weight to make 160,you cannot add muscle on a calorie deficit and you cant lose weight without a calorie deficit yes of course you could look at Tommy Hearns later in his career and believe he could of made welterweight if you understand body types and the differences in body types....if you have this one size fits all " if they get big they are on steroids " mentality then no you probably wont.

I'll say it again, he was the BIGGER man on the night of the fight..... if he's shorter yet weighed more he WAS the bigger man....

Brook was in great shape, low body fat and not over muscled. You're talking as though this was someone like Roberto Duran who carried a lot of fat facing bigger men.

Oh but you can gain muscle mass when on a deficit, I thought an expert on the subject like yourself would know this? It gets even easier using certain supplements as well, not that I'm accusing Kell of doing such a thing.....

Hearns was fighting at Light heavyweight at 34 and was already super lean, no way on earth would you have said he could have made Welterweight.......

The size wasn't the reason Brook lost, he was in with a superior fighter who is on the way to becoming an ATG....

Over the years I have read some strange opinions about boxing ,some absolute idiotic statements but saying Golovkin is all hype ,must be the silliest most ignorant one yet .

This will teach ol man Eubank to stop f****n around with his sons career !

When you seen them face to face at the weigh in ,in terms of shoulder height and width etc it was obvious ggg had the much bigger frame and was the bigger of the 2.

Golovkin has got the bigger frame but on the night Brook was the bigger man, muscle weighs heavier than fat and GGG has nowhere near the muscle mass of Brook.

Does it matter that much who was the bigger man??? Brook had the bigger balls taking the fight that's for sure... Best man won on the night, both came out uninjured, and ready for the next one

Makes me laugh when all you hear is GGG only won because he's the bigger man, he's the better fighter full stop....

Both came out uninjured? Guess you didn't see the fight then? Kells in hospital now eating grapes, Golovkin broke him apart....

GGG has never been muscle bound just his body type. Brook was not bigger. If ricky burns who's the same height as ggg packed on loads of muscle would that make him a middleweight rather than a lightweight ?

Nonsense. So you don't know much about the sport. If somebody vastly overweight shows up to a boxing gym do you think Kell they would be told it's fine stay fat you'll just be a heavyweight ?

But Brook wasn't vastly overweight nor vastly over muscled.....

If your using that logic there was barely half a pound between the at the official weigh in. I won't argue as it's just my opinion but ggg is and was the bigger man

What logic? He was the bigger man the day before the fight and on the day of the fight? This is a FACT, don't you agree????

No you've given zero evidence to show he was bigger in the ring other than your logic of muscle is heavy and brook looked more muscular? From the facts you have give your argument would then be that Brook was possibly half a pound heavier ?

He was heavier at the pre-fight check weigh-in, was those weights wrong? Did they lie or was Brook wearing lead heels??

I'm terms of size both weighing the same a pound of fat takes around 3 or four times the body space of a pound of muscle. Both men are roughly the same height. Both weighed in roughly the same the day before the fight. So either ggg is carrying alot of fat or brook is a smaller man who has packed in alot of muscle to make the weight?

Tell ya what? From now on we should only weigh a fighters bones, GGG would be the BIGGER man then.....

So you believe brook packed on pounds of muscle over night ?

What the hell are you talking about? He was bigger at the official weigh-in and bigger on the day of the fight, is this true or not???? Answer the question....

How do you know he was bigger on fight day enlighten me .

You are dense, like talking to a brick wall....

They have something called a check weigh-in on the day of a fight, they have now got to weigh-in within a certain weight on that day.

Have you actually done any fighting, and I don't mean over the remote with your missus.....
