post-85710-0-88852500-1464205393.jpgWell lads, there was no way I was drowning any of my beloved rifles in that "get wet" drizzle tonight, so off we trundled to a permission where I am slowly developing a natural, deadly hide, sitting exactly 28 yards from a very large single tree by the side of a huge cropped field.

When this field is cut, I`m hoping the tree will come under an awful lot of use by the very wise wood pigeon population in these parts.

Either calibre will take care of business at these ranges.post-85710-0-87826300-1464205219.jpg

The last picture is the hide, 3/4 completed.

When you go out, show us an image of inside the hide mark, I'm with v'man... It's a damn good hide, you commando you :)

No problem mate but at 3/4 build a bit pointless so when it`s complete I`ll post again and give you lads a "massive tip" to go with it.

The tip is from my old keeper mate who taught me loads as a kid,- "it`s a hell of a good one" :good: but before I leave you with that, look back at the pictures, the birds will be facing their interests - food- when they settle in that tree,- hence presenting me with "between the shoulder blade shots all day long"
