YOKEL 2,414
Like i said im not trying to be racist. So please dont make it into a race thing. majority of people in the game are lying cheating peddling money grabbing paper hanging c**ts.. look at the legends of the game they cheated they hanged papers, they take drugs they steal dogs. good people in the game are far and few always has been always will be. white people are no different. what old timer did you ever see smoking a blunt or selling cocain? ..Think Mayfield had a hefty appreciation of the weed, as for coke, certainly got around the game here....but like some one once said to me, if you don't want to hang around with criminals, don't involve yourself in illegal activities...Yokel 2 Quote Link to post

DogFox123 1,379
They loved a joint and a natter, as good as the Yanks are I do sometimes wonder how our own Pit Dogs would have turned out if we had slacker laws like they did.... I suppose the vastly more selection would have always helped them over us even though I think we would be better dogmen and breeders... Edited October 7, 2016 by DogFox123 Quote Link to post
Mary 352
I get what rippem is saying, I don't see it as racist at all. The wrong people are getting the breed for the wrong reasons, not his fault they happen to be black druggies. Quote Link to post
DogFox123 1,379
The dogs have been in the wrong hands a long, long time. I know most don't like to hear it but imo the books wrote on the dogs gave them the publicity they did not need. In a way the men who love the breed are to blame for it's downfall. The same with hunting over here. Quote Link to post
BGD 6,437
Agree with that DogFox, publicity was the games downfall and is the biggest enemy of the breed Quote Link to post

Difference is back in the day all they had was word of mouth. Now we have books with names of the folks and the internet that gives away everything..... I'm a member of another certain site and the content it allows made me question whether it's a legit site or a bugged site, the members on there might unknowingly be knocking in the final nail in the coffin.... Rabbit Hunter 6,613
Im not on facebook, but some pics on there that my mates have shown me are ridiculous regarding working terriers. Lads bringing unnecessary attention to themselves and to the past time we love for the sake of a pat on the back is embarrasing. 2 Quote Link to post
