do you think trunk, if you gone back to more bull in your line, you might get more of what you want .? even with just 1/4 collie it will show, they do get to clever at times that bit of collie .

Wouldn't that be 1/32th of collie in the pups or even less? Doubt you'd notice anything really. Could of just been there age. Can't imagine a dog running clever after just a second slip.

Atb with the othe pup u have trunk.

1/16 collie it works out mate second slip when he started watching the beam mate av had him 7 or 8 times at the start he was flying into them he was impressive then he clicked on when they hit the hedge they they jum back out or stayed in the hedge an he picked them up he turned one into the middle of the feild an hobbie hosred behind with his head in the air then lifted av had dogs like that i get no injoyment out of a run like that mate i like a dog trying . some lads would be happy with it at the end of the day he hasnt done nothing wrong just the way he picked it up i just dont like it if your out for numbers he would be alryt never puts all his energy into a course he would run all night but av been there seen that before better of giving him to my mate that was after him

even from the same litter , there all different, you can have top class parents they dont all make it. just like pits not all are game, even from proven parents . and suppose the more breeds in the mix, you going to get more variation , genes throw at differnt times even from as you say less than a 1/4 collie. that thinking about deff comes from the collie , ive had both xs pitxs and colliexs over the years, when the blood up the pitx just does it, the colliex will think a bit about before doing it.

thats it trunk  in your game (foxes) a dog got strike straight away, or you loose the fox in edges etc. thats what i like with 1x gsd x greys like my dog Buck, he dont think about it, he just does it, what ever he sees in front of him, he bit reckless at times and had few bangs. but being big dog so far as not to bad with them, but i am like you rather have a dog full on than, one picking his time on there quarry.
