Set a Larsen trap up after farmer rang to say he had see some about,two days later a full house farmer was happy he offered me a day on his pheasant shoot when the season starts ?

No the trap is one the farmer had ??

Keep moving the trap around the place. Even a few yards could bring it into another pairs territory. Get your call bird from another area otherwise the locals won't use the trap. I've had plenty this year but there's still a pair or two nesting now along the hedgerow. I'll pay them a visit early doors

I took some mates clay shooting once, the fella who ran the site had a monstrous rat problem, he asked me to take care of it and he would give me free clays. I told him to sod off.

I caught a pair n my back garden last week in less than the hour or so it took to walk the dogs,set it up before i went came home to a full house myself ..

As it goes i clear at least a pair up from my garden every year,i hear them cackling and out goes the larsen .Last year i set it up and walked the 50ft down the garden to the house,i walked in and grabbed the kettle and as i was at the sink the wild air dropped into a tree in my garden and i called one of the kids (he does a bit of country stuff with me quite often) and we watched them both get caught straight away .Gods honest truth that trap wasn't set 5 minuets and yeah mate that feels grand ..
