It used to be only for mole rat & rabbit, but its a very long time since I done my ticket or purchased.

If you are in legal possession of phostoxin, and trained then you should know the answer, if not, then should not be using or storing

there is no gas or chemical approved for foxes, the approved ways of dealing with foxes arer as follows snareing, live traps, shooting or terrier work

Phostoxin is for use against , Rabbits , Rats and moles only , use against anything else even by accident is an offence.

 

If I have a warren to gas i often set up a trail cam for a couple of days first to make sure , and prove if needed that nothing other than the target species was using it.

That went through my mind as well, it isn't easy these days to get hold of or store Phoxtoxin or Talunex (aluminium phosphide) LEGALLY, and training/qualification is required.

 

Perhaps best to still ask regardless than just charge in!
