I've subscribed since year dot no matter what. When it first came out I had my fingers burned by another very short lived monthly working dog mag and was reluctant to send more money to more strangers. I wrote to the man who was editor of EDRD at the time and he assured me that it wouldn't happen with his mag. That was more than twenty year ago and every month since then an issue has been sent. That editor is still the same man who produces an issue every month without fail.

If you have read a few old issues then you have an idea of what's produced every month. It's just tales and opinions on earth dogs and running dogs. I like it.

Regards

I've known of 2 people write in it and there story's were very fictional,

Used to get it and have every copy up till about 6 year or so ago. Didnt bother renewing as a Walter Mitty seemed to have verbal diarea in every edition it seemed.

The amount of time EDRD has been going for says it all! As said earlier on this thread there is not much out there for us. This is my first subscription but have past copies which I have read more than once. I have read most terrier and lurcher books by various authors and was engrossed in many, were they totally honest in what they wrote personally I honestly don't know or care really, all I know is they captured my imagination. EDRD relies on these contributors to keep this magazine getting published month after month so anyone who thinks they have an interesting experience share it with ones that read it. I have no connection at all with EDRD but the editor is a top man who dedicates his life to the magazine and I for one will support him.
