The one 8,597
We took the two dogs to a local hall as the council where doing free chipping before it becomes law in April , What a fecking laugh it was like something out of Still Games Devil Dug Episode It started at 09.30 and we got there at twenty past and the queue was already outside the hall , then a old guy comes out with a wee lap dug in his arms And Shout I telt u to shut the f*ck up and punches it Them there a wee local jakkie with a big bear of a rottweiller complete with long tail getting pulled into the hall then back out But why did he have a blue pair of rubber gloves on ? Them the mutt in front of me barked constant all I heard was Benson stop it or your no getting a walk ffs There was a huge lad in the corner with a bear of a dug all muzzled that came up to his waist they chipped it and put it out the fire escape there where drips of blood all round the hall so somebody at the front had a bitch in heat no wonder half the old folk where getting pulled all over the place by there big dogs It felt like the longest hour of my life but that's them done

Bo Duke 420
Sounds entertaining to me, some pet owners are proper lunatics. Going on a microchipping course tomorrow so I'll be able to do my lot done before the law changes.
Carraghs Gem 1,699
last time i was in a vets a very fat yellow lab attempted to attack my muzzled working shepherd.. the owner of the lab had absolutely no idea how to control it. fortunately for him i had my boy under control
The one 8,597
I was amazed over half the dogs there had what looked like brand new muzzles on so the owners knew they could cause trouble just because they weren't socialized as pups ?.

Neal 1,930
That all sounds very familiar. I took my kelpie, Noggin, to the vet recently and there was an unbelievably gobby pet border terrier screaming insanely at everyone and everything (I thought borders were supposed to be the calm members of the terrier clan?) This awful thing was mere inches from his face and screaming canine insults at him. I merely said, "Aah! Just try to ignore it mate," which made everybody else in the waiting room grin. He took a big sigh and actually turned his back on it...though it was one of those rare occasions when I half wished he'd ignore me and eat the bloody thing!

Bo Duke 420
I just hope I see an improvement in performance after fitting a chip, I chipped my Integrale Evo back in the day and it made hell of a difference!
