IF the terrier is indeed well bred I'd rather pay 400 for a pup than the 2000 or 3000 that been spent on so called proven workers nowadays.

Do lads really pay that type of money, no wonder the game is f****d

You could treble that if you hit the American market.

I recently heard of 500 given for a stud. Don't know anything about the dog used but I do know that the owner of the stud dog would keep a cur.

500 a service but shur if the dogs a proven producer it's well worth it more so if ya have a proven bitch.

Thats the problem Chesney, lot of people jumped on the band wagon using all the big names and charging ridiculas prices for pups and studs and little do the buyers or the people geting the stud know that there not the real deal, half the time there crossed with everything bar a bus but yet have a tag put on them.A few year ago i bred a litter of pups from a very good line of terriers. My bitch had 5 pups,2 i kept myself 1 given back for the service and the last 2 given away for free.A couple of months later i met a chap that inquired how the pups were and asked did i sell ant of them, when i told him what i had done with the litter he replied, you could have made a right few quid on them,i said i know but i also know that a few year down the line if im stuck for a pup these same lads would give me 1 in a heartbeat.
