low plains drifter 11,268
saw a clip earlier today and there some footage of a fox and a golden eagle fighting over a deer carcase. think its on tonights show.be worth viewing and get it on iplayer tomorrowWouldn't believe anything they say, watched the one from Dumfries a few months back, that Martin gadgeywas on about the river nith and salmon. There was that many inaccuracies from him it was unbelievable, for example did you know the salmon that run the Nith come from Norway? Don't you realise these people are university graduates, they would'nt be on the box unless they were the top people in their field
kanny 21,753
You take from it what you like the presenters are dicks and the information questionable but the fotage is top class ...the high end thermal imaging footage is impressive and being a licence payer I'll be fooked if I'm going to boycott one of the few programs that have something I'm interested in . keepitcovert 842
Eagle v fox what they did not point out was eagles regularly take foxes, a fox is generally not stupid enough to risk an injury that long term could prove fatal.
neil cooney 10,416
Watch it now and again for the footage but have to admit I was rather amused the other night when they were looking at Black Grouse and Cwis Packham asked Mikeala did she like Blackcock ?
