Aran Knitting Patterns

Recommended Posts

Aye

Mrs Rake is an avid knitter and is looking for a pattern. It`s an Aran pattern and is the one that Steve McQueen wore.

Very hard to track down, so get asking yer Missus if she`s a knitter.

Pattern in question.

That could be a one off pattern, done for him.

I had two made for me, and it was not easy to get original patterns,-

I don't suppose she knits original gansey's ?. They are like hens teeth to get original local gansey's.

Most of the gansey patterns are here.

Yes i know of that one, but you will notice variants, on original patterns. It was original Seaton Sluice, or Cullercoats i was looking for. I have seen variants, but are far from the original patterns.

Thanks
