Zimpara 99
AA field 5.52 16grain. Hi fellas, I got a chrono finally and put all my different pellets through my TX200 .22 First thing this morning I did a 5shot string with every different pellet I have, the RWS super fields were very good! RWS superfield 5.52 15.9grain 569fps-11.45ft/lbs 569-11.44 569-11.45 571-11.52 569-11.45 Then with the AAs and got these results. 563 -11.27 567- 11.43 562-11.24 568-11.48 565-11.35 I then fired half a tin of AAs checking ranges and drop offs, and half a tin of RWSs and then fired a 10shot string of AAs. 574-11.74 579-11.92*** 576-11.82*** 576-11.79 576-11. 572-11.62 571-11.61 573-11.65 579-11.92*** 571-11.57 567-11.44 567-11.44 566-11.38 572-11.64 This is a new TX with about 2000 pellets put through it. What do you suggest? Quote Link to post

jonnie bravo 572
I found superfields to be very consistent too. Nice one. Yeah I think that will settle with time, check after every tin of pellets it should calm down Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
Leave it alone, and just check it regularly, it is under 12 and probably wont creep over, just keep an eye on it. Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
Hi buddy A bit close for me,did you weigh your pellets prior to the shot string? Going by experience AA they can vary from 15.1 to 16.2 . I would always shoot 30/40 shots into a safe backstop, then the rifle is warmed up,then shoot your shot string. And I would advise you to get them all the same weight,if a ten shot string weigh fifteen just in case of error. I think you might be pleasantly surprised if you done this again ,this way. I like my spring rifles to be around 10.5/10.8 ,less recoil and still plenty of power! Quote Link to post
