I am yet to try anything else in my 100 .177 yet been using up the accupels i got here , and they are performing well tbh .. most seem to be using the AA fields , so i will probably try them but in

Never found them to work that well in any gun i have had , all ways low on power They are about the same weight as the JSB heavies but these give a lot more ft/lb than bis mags

I dont know the fps it is doing but with 8.4 pellets it was doing 11.4 ftlb and with the mags its doing 11.9 ftlb

 

At 11.4 fpe and 8.4 grains, that would be 782 fps rounded up. 11.9 fpe for the Bisley Magnum's nominal 10.65 grains would be 709 fps.

 

The bis mags I have (two tins) weigh 10.3 -10.4

According to the Bisley website, they're a nominal 10.65 grains. When I weighed a sample of 20 myself, they averaged out at 10.36 grains. The .22 pellets were a little closer to their nominal 21.14 grains, averaging out at 20.72 grains.

 

Interesting to see that they're now, at long last, offering different head sizes for the .177 pellet. Since they're manufactured by H&N, it's a bit surprising they they didn't think't thought of that before... :rolleyes:
