low plains drifter 10,954
No reverse gear so im happy just never heard of the lines I know lines mean nothing just curious to see if anyone else has anything like him how they find there's I would'nt say lines mean nothing, if a line is known to produce dogs with certain traits, then atleast you've got some chance of knowing what to expect should you get a pup from the said line 2 Quote Link to post

low plains drifter 10,954
Chocolate colour generally comes from inbreeding black hence fell terriers cocker spaniel labs ect so if the guy on face book says he has had the same line for a while and bred tight he may well have started to produce chocolate . For interest sake this line was black or red to start with but as the say a good dog can't be a bad colour so it matters little what colour they are so long as they can do there job. Always good to hear of lads who stick with their own stuff, and as long as they are breeding to maintain and improve the line they keep, that's got to be a good thing Quote Link to post
