smithie 2,429
pack your mount at the front Quote Link to post
andyf 144
How high the scope is off of the receiver has no effect on the elevation. Something must be amiss, you can get moa inclined pickatinney rails, but these are for very long range shooting where the elevation is off the end. surely not the case with you. Try winding the turrets fully up & down a few times, I reckon something is 'stuck' inside? Quote Link to post
Shaymanben 0
pack your mount at the front Only do this if you want the impact point lower. Quote Link to post
jacknife 2,005
How many full rotations will the turret do Is there numbers on the outside of the turret starting at 0 Quote Link to post
Yokel Matt 918
That scope is a quality bit of kit - the problem is your mounts. Id try to avoid shimming them on a centerfire if you can and take it to a gunsmith to try some different mounts and bore sight it. If you do decide to shim the front make sure to use metal, not paper, a drinks can is easy enough to cut to the right dimension with kitchen scissors. 1 Quote Link to post

We have all done it, but you mean the back, he wants more elevation not less. 1 Quote Link to post

On the face of it the obvious response is your scope is Fubared! Quote Link to post

Marctitty 92
Took them apart gave them a good cleaning to get the sticky tap off them and just replaced them the other way round and they were shooting high when re zeroed them so just had to lower the elevation Quote Link to post
