Rez 4,961
Managed to get out this evening for 2 and a bit hours, literally just got back. Fancied a go at some 'roosting/sitty' trees I noticed at the manor house in the peak summer. Theres always been the usual clatter of wings every time I go near the trees, so I decided to sit it out for the first time in a while, especially targeting one species. Found a right cute little spot underneath a huge maple tree over looking what look like bones of what trees they where, funnily enough they've always been bare. The birds seem to just circle around and land before finding some other trees to roost in later in the evening. Missed far to many, but dropped these 4 chaps. There is nothing better than late summer, out with a spring powered set up and a great sunset. Not that you can see the sunset in the images. It was quite dark when I left, hence the flash going off. This little spot shall yield well through the autumn and winter months. Roll on them. 2 Quote Link to post

kanny 21,675
The nights are certainly drawing in now. I fancied a bash at the pigeons myself tonight but thunderstorms put a end to that...nice looking spot that rez i think there will be plenty more to come from there especially when the leafs have dropped.
