Jax13 251
when i was looking last year they were the same price as anywhere else for a new one so i opted for using my local rfd so i have somewhere to take it back to should it go wrong. if you hunt around on there and drop lucky you should be able to grab a second hand mk3m with a couple of collars for round about the same price of a new one (so basically save yourself £60 - from new price). mk1's can still fetch £100 or more if the seller lists them to finish at the right time! Jamie m 668
Anyone any advice about buying ferret finder on eBay.what I mean is it safe to buy as they are a bit dear. Both my mk3s's are second hand I've had one for 6 years plus , the others two or three years old , some times you get a bargain look about on gumtree Friday ads to , and pigeon watch forum , or put a wanted ad up in the for sale section on here . The one 8,598
What's the guarantee ? Buying from Debens you get I think a three month guarantee so I would be buying from debens when I was going to use it and try it hard over those three months to see if there was any problems Quote Link to post
johnrthrfrd 223
Bought mine off flea bay second hand with 2 collars had no probs. Quote Link to post
maxwell 88
Three months isn't much of a guarantee, but better than nothing, if you buy it at the beginning of the season and use it regularly Quote Link to post
The one 8,598
I've bought a few mk1s from the bay and never had a problem , but it's rare to get a bargain now as guys are buying them and reselling them Quote Link to post
Jax13 251
I'm pretty sure that by law deben must give a 12 month warranty if they are selling a new product. Could be wrong but I though that was the minimum. 1 Quote Link to post
