The one 8,586
With out reading that I understood you couldn't lamp hares as they where classed as game compared to rabbits being vermin ? 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,982
England, Wales and ScotlandThe shooting of game at night is not permitted. Ground game (rabbit and hare – which is subject to a close season in Scotland) may be shot at night by an occupier of land or one other person authorised by the occupier, with the permission of the holder of the shooting rights under Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Schedule 7, unless the occupier has the exclusive rights. But you cant shoot them on Sundays or Christmas 2 Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
That's how I read it Ant, only one allocated person either the land occupier himself and one other, someone employed by him for the purpose of protecting crops, the hares count as payment in the absence of monies. 2 Quote Link to post
