Welsh_red 5,002
ive had a look on the pinned threads about applying for a shotgun licence , very informative . Ive filled out my form and ready to send it off just one question i have . This might sound stupid but im gonna ask it anyway , do i just put the cash in the envelope and send it off or does it need to be a cheque ? Quote Link to post

Welsh_red 5,002
Send a cheque, you can also see when it's been cashed. [BANNED TEXT] just told me to do a postal order . Any difference in the two? Quote Link to post
tomburras 2,730
No idea to be honest, it's just nice to see your cheque has been cashed and your renewal in in process Quote Link to post
Alsone 789
Never heard of using a postal order TBH. My advice if you go down that route is used a Crossed One and make sure you fill in the name of the Police Force on the Order (as worded for cheques), don't leave it blank. (A crossed PO has to be paid into a Bank Account whereas an uncrossed one can simply be cashed. Also, if you fail to fill in the force's name, anyone could cash it and it's your word against there's that it was included espcially if uncrossed). walshie 2,804
Just write a cheque. Going to get a P/O is too much hassle. Quote Link to post
