secretagentmole 1,701
Copied this link from a thread on Airgun BBS! http://airgungurus.com/2015/07/04/jsb-in-trouble/ Seems you will be charged twice as much for pellets that are only as good as they were last year! 1 Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
We noticed this in our club a while back and compared all the tins we had to hand which was quite a few. If they are in trouble then dropping quality will be the nail in the coffin. The die number is in the batch number so it should be possible to work out which the shit ones are between us all and if nobody buys them they will have to shelve them again. 2 Quote Link to post

Rimfireboy! 1,463
Believe it or not, as far as weight consistency is concerned, I've found marksman pellets hardly deviate at all. Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
Better of buying your pellets from http://www.jsb-diabolos.de/ nice one vm, that works out at 47.50 I think for a sleeve of exacts delivered. pressume you can specify that they are all the same batch? VWman 232
Why bother trying to get them at a good price, if the word was spread through all forums and don't buy them. They will soon get the message. I have not tried them as I am newish re -visitor to the air gun world. For me it would not all be about the money but the quality. I thought decent pellets were expensive at £14 for 500 H&N FTT so I have tried rws superdome in both the hw77 and the hw95. Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
Think about it this way, the £ last year bought 1.2 euros, this year the £ buys 1.4 euros, That is a 16% increase in the value of the £. Realistically pellet prices from the EU (ie JSB pellets) should have fallen as there is not 16% increase in inflation from last year to this year. I think they assume air rifle shooters are like un catheterised bladders, ie they need the pee taking! Now add to that fact the apparent statement by JSB that they are not making enough money to use new dies on many pellets that you use, that if you want new die pellets you will have to pay double, not just 10 or 20% but bleeding double and they are taking the pee so much they will have sucked your kidneys out as well! 1 Quote Link to post
