moxy 617
Had a cracking storm hit our area last night. Something I've never seen before. Over an hour of thunder and lightning and I mean constant. The sky was like it was lit up with strobes. Then the hail came! Five minuets solid of lumps of ice coming down sideways. With force. Some up to golf ball size. It caused some damage. Cars dinted and windows smashed. Birds knocked dead out of trees. House windows. Green houses etc. my mates farm took a hit and has to replace sixty roof lights. A spectacular sight but you would have been fooked getting caught out in it.

Malt 379
Happened round here last year, dropped some hire cars off to customers whose cars were being repaired after it. Amazing people aren't killed when it hits like that..
