Rez 4,961
Spot on. I got one that sounds about the same nick wise and I paid 650 rifle only. Worth every penny. Your selling, or buying, whatever the case maybe, a legend, who cares if it's not as accurate (it is, but perhaps not as consistent when un reg'd, and you don't reg a mk1, get a mk2 if you want a reg) as today's high end models, it set the standard of PCP field rifles from the word go. I don't really shoot mine, it's more of a thing to have, than use, which is strange as it's meant to be used, ultlilitarin and all that. Quote Link to post
Bunnyblatter 1,012
As long as it shoots straight then most other things can be sorted. If its for hunting it doesn't really matter what it looks like as the bunnies won't appreciate being shot with either a good looking gun or a battered old gun lol Sounds a bargain if you ask me mate Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,568
HI Gaz, are you wanting a Rapid or are you wanting any top quality pcp ? Your initial budget of £600 goes a long way towards a high quality, modern pcp (no dis- respect to Rapids intended ) Edited June 16, 2015 by mark williams 1 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,568
Just a thought £600 towards a Rapid ? - or- £600 towards a HW 100 - "no brainer" in my opinion, and if you buy your pcp from the likes of Ronnie Sunshine your rifle gets free servicing and a lifetime guarantee as long as you own it ! That takes some beating, "do you think" . Quote Link to post
Bunnyblatter 1,012
Just been offered a HW100 in .22 with bipod, scope, bag and re chargeable torch and could of been throwing a 7ltr bottle in for £650 Quote Link to post

Rimfireboy! 1,463
The rapids are still holding their money. A good thing about them is, compared to the more modern pcp's, they're easily owner serviceable. Especially the pre anti tamper ones. They just come apart with ease using a basic tool kit. A few o rings and a couple of springs, the rest of them is so well engineered it'll probably last you out. Just beware of butchery from previous owners as so many have been messed about with by "home tuners". 1 Quote Link to post
