chrismdd 787
Nice shooting. Isn't it amazing when the sky fills with angry corvids that appear from nowhere at the sight of a fallen comrade. Years ago before the GL I took a jackdaw out that was trying to block my chimney with nesting materials after I spent several days clearing the blocked chimney where the jackdaws had nested six foot down. On shooting that jackdaw it was like a scene from Hitchcocks the birds as at least twenty angry corvids (jackdaws, crows and magpies) swirled noisily around the house. I've now cemented a wire grill over the chimney. Quote Link to post

Durham John 693
Ha, was delivering to a farm yesterday and was thinking it was the scene from the birds, must have been over 100 of the black buggers lifted from the cattle feeders when I drove in they cast a shadow on the ground lol. Bunnyblatter 1,012
Nice one mate. Always nice to see a bandit or 2 in the bag. Be nice to have a silenced shotty once the first bird is down and they start carrying on to take a few out Quote Link to post
