Wales1234 5,682
I agree with you there mate but also some people take it more serious than others ! I'm not overly serious if my dogs hunt up and rise a few bits and pops I'm happy I'm not a serious hunter catch a few bits and bobs !! but I enjoy myself that's all I give a shit about i don't worry about what other people have got or do ! 8 Quote Link to post
bird 10,014
It's easy to stand on the sidelines and whine about a breeders pups not turning out but much of the time it's because most people are not as good as they think they are with dogs. All of the people that bitch about Hancock should try making a dozen batches of pups and see how many actually end up in the hands of competent trainers. If Hancock's pups turn out at better than a rate of 20% he's genius and should get some sort of award because most self proclaimed dog people aren't what they think they are. yeh , but wouldn't you if you had the choice of a pup that parents have at least seen or caught a rabbit, than dogs kept in a run 24/7 . the dams are retired greys, the collies just stuck at his place, prob never seen a sheep lol . not saying you cant get a good dog, as mate had couple of him over the years, been ok . with any pup its a gamble you buy, but I like to think ive stacked things my way , if the parents done something , in the day or night, Hancock's dogs never go outside his place. 1 Quote Link to post

mattyg 1,862
I've seen more reasonable mutts than useless mutts from little Aston......I go out with a mate who has a half cross from Hancock and ok, it might be a slightly slow starter but it's got the makings of a very handy dog. Time never ruined a dog but doing stuff too soon certainly has! Matt 2 Quote Link to post
