Goat Farm!

Well I went down the new permission, was not allowed on the fields, due to a swarm from one of the hives. So a bee keeping outfit was provided and I was able to watch as the bees were persuaded from the branch and given a new hive.

 

The permission is a couple of acres, which is subdivided into three grazing areas for goats. There are a few bunnies about and I laid up in the field without any goats in and waited. A rabbit emerged from the hedge and stopped to try and stare me out. Unfortunately it could not outstare a Defiant Ogive and it got the headache to end all headaches.

 

Waiting further a rabbit hopped out behind me, so I had to turn, get a line avoiding the hives and another bun bit the dust.

 

I talked to the landowner on my way out and bought some sausages.

 

He told me to have a word with the land owner behind as the rabbits would be attacking there too and he is a market gardener. I offered him a rabbit but he had to go and add a layer to a hive, so I offered to bring it filleted and frozen. He accepted my offer. So 2 buns, 1 to eat, 1 to give back and probably a new permission too!

It is a Galatian 2 rifle in .177.

I like the rifle, just wish that hammer noise was less cloink!
