Ferret Advice

Just wondering if anyone can give a bit of help or advice about this, my ferrets tails are going bald along the sides from the tip to near the back of the tail, they are healthy well fed and kept clean and get flead regularly, they share the same cage and it just seems wierd that it is exactly the same on both ferrets and only on the sides of their tails, any tips or advice will be appreciated. I call it rats tail and I think you have nothing to be bothered about ,seen this before on mine and by winter this will grow back ,this time of year a lot of ferrits go in a bit of a state ,ive had ferrits for many years and had not had a problem till a few year ago same thing no hair on tail ,when I asked the local ferrit rescue the man said not to worry ,hope this puts your mind at rest atb

Had the same up and down will grow back when they get there winter coat.

Aye Rats tail caused by a overload of hormones should be fine when they stop coming into season mate

As above, my hobs tail loses hair, and grows back.

No idea what causes it though. Anyone?
