walshie 2,804
We have these growing a lot of places they shouldn't so I've chopped a couple of the little ones down (Yes, Malt! ) The last couple were little saplings growing out between 2 walls where mrs w wants to plant some flowers. Couldn't get to the roots as the walls are only a few inches apart, so cut them as low as I could. What's the best way to kill them off so they don't grow back? Ta. moxy 617
Weedkiller. Drill a hole in the stem so it holds the liquid.
rabbit demon 302
Injecting weed killer into whats left of the stem and roots is meant to do it. Never tried it myself.

sussex 5,803
I drilled out a 1 in inch hole about 3 in deep , filled it with concentrated roundup put a plug in , topped it up a couple of months later , that did the job ..
