No Contest............

ARCHIE! It's good to see you back here. No new nubile young things in your world then?

I see your taste in preferred shooting rifle hasn't altered with time though!

All the best mate.

Simon

Edited to add.

I have a Daystate Regal that I use well enough BUT ALSO... an HW77 .22 that I absolutely will defend to the end as the finest spring rifle there is.

It will TWANG all over any silly little PCP any time.

Ok so say I sell my r10. What shall I get for hunting?

Atb

A sorted HW97. Or a TX, or maybe a 95. Either calibre. Pro Sports a bit to gay for hunting. You wont want to get it wet or anything.

Alright. Calm down, its an opinion. It is indeed the same as the others.

I use mine in the field, but I referance the fact its a f****r to clean with its shit cocking lever design. If you have it apart enough times after its been out, things loosen and a well known fact of the PS is its utterly shit lever loosing tension.

Tried H&N but low on power not to good groupings ,never found a gun which like H&N pellets .

The best in mine is Falcon Accuracy Plus 13.4gr , 597-600 FPS over 25 pellets and pellet on pellet at 40 yards ,tried this range yesterday, quite a few are using this pellet in the 95 , in fact in any HW range of guns

Am I right in thinking you have a pro sport and an r10? Keep and use both as much as possible, work on the negative points,if any,on both and take them out alternately,or dedicate each a certain job, then you have the best of both worlds with two of the best rifles? I am looking to get a good springer to go with my hw100,hopefully fairly soon,to be in the position I described, pretty much but you know how things change!but I wouldn't get rid of the r10 until I'd thought long and hard...

Yeah think I'm gonna hold onto the r10, I changed the scope yesterday to lighter one and it's seems a lot better. I do really like the rifle To be Honest. Think I'm gonna look for a lighter springer thou.
