Ah ah your assuming again mate, lol you never answered proven scientific fact that there offspring are sterile, how does evoloution get round that, plus mutation is a loss of information, an that. Cant be passed on, it cant even happen unless you get passed the first question, which i doubt you can lol

Evo has nothing to do with x'ing a horse and a donkey does it QB, that's a man made mating that because of genetic quirks produces infertile offspring, branches that come off a tree are the same, then mutate over millions of years until the changes create something very different from the original stock............its a non question.....i wouldn't expect a horse and a bear to produce anything, but they're from the same stock originally

QB is not stupid, far from it. However, even though he can see the truth, his faith will not allow him to accept it.   TC

No it's not. It's an example of domestication and evolution through selective breeding. It does nothing to prove evolutionary time lines or family trees or have anything at all to do with a mythical a

Why has this turned into another God thread ... f***ing BORING .............

A good example of religion holding people back :whistling:

I am not drawing any conclusions from the statement, it is just how I see it. Who am I to knock another persons beliefs?

No it doesnt make sense to me me i can see alot of variety, but i cant see a dog changing from a dog to say a cat, or in between, thats just fairytale to me,

What are you suggesting then ......

that you can over time breed new charateristics into a species, lets say dogs.

still with me?

we can make dogs for example bigger or smaller, agreed?

we can do the same for any other characteristic, size of teeth, coat colour etc

so given enough time we could create an animal entirely different from a dog,but whose ancestors were dogs.

say if we only selected those who could thrive on a veg only diet and we also selected for size, eventually we'd have huge vegitarian animals of a new species,no longer dogs.

right?

Yeah but its still will be a dog neems,,,,

A. Tiercel honestly i dont see the science in evoloition, all i see is assumptions, an fairytales, i see variety, in kinds, but seriously im waiting for evidence for man to molecules, darwinism, theres a big difference in man to molecules, an variation within a kind, as i said before i trawled threw the evidence for both for years, i beleived evo at one stage, but when i dug deep, creation explained it all, no one has showed me any evidence for molecules to man, just assumptions of millions of years ago, were no one seen, tested an observed.

then lets say after weve made this super size veggie dog,we then breed it to look like a cow.

is it still a dog?

How would you do that, considering in the wild it wouldnt work that way, it will still be a dog, bo matter what

im not talking about in natural selection im talking about artificial selection here.

like in the vid.

given enough time and effort it could be done, couldn't it?

it wouldn't imo be a dog anymore it would be a new species.

If men interferred it could happen but it wouldnt work in the natural , because natural selection selects, what information is already there it doesnt create anything new, and were talking about the natural here.

Even in mutations, because they are worse of an cant pass on nothing....
