bryn27 89
First chance today with the stainless hori hori blade.i was impressed to say the least perfect tight holes for either trap placed and the addition of a good root cutter for under the privet. A trowel is for planting plants, hori hori is for anything you want it to do to a high standard. 1 Quote Link to post

mole trapper 1,705
This looks identical to the one I've been using the last five years or so. A mate bought it for me, I think from either axminster tools or machine Mart. Quote Link to post
jackg 7
I searched and found this review on the US site and from which one of those recommended is this one on Amazon, who don't like copying of their web sites. http://www.gardentoolreview.com/hori-hori-soil-knife-review/ Tomita Miyamato Hori Hori for £21.45. (Which is easy to pronounce after a couple of beers) They also sell the cheaper Fiskars aluminium one for £10. Edited April 14, 2015 by jackg Quote Link to post
bryn27 89
yip looks the same as the one I have, all I'd fault is the sheath but local cobbler is making me a new one out of calf leather with an extended loop for the belt. Quote Link to post

PLEDGEY 496
I use a dry wall saw to cut out the holes for duffus traps, £1.99 from screwfix. Quote Link to post
shropshire mole 190
I use a dry wall saw to cut out the holes for duffus traps, £1.99 from screwfix.Have tried these before but found Have used these before, but sometimes find the saw teeth get blocked/damaged/bend. You then need another tool to lift the cut piece out. The Hori can do both. My only criticism: as the hori is curved, so does not cut in a straight line Quote Link to post
Hands of Stone 154
A lad in work was showing me what he uses and it looks basically like a rambo knife, with the handle offset like the handle on a bayonet. just wondering if anyone has tried one? Quote Link to post
