ive seen a few over the years but one that stands out was in an old kitchen garden years ago ,and it had an ornamental pond in center only a small one ,with small box privets bordering the veg plots, and suddenly there was squealing just like a young rabbit ,it was a large grass snake had ambushed a frog and the frog was actually squealing in the grass snakes mouth .ive never seen the likes before nor since .

i once watched a kestrel with a frog, boy do they squeal, took me a couple of minutes to work out was it was :laugh:

no there are loads around here, just looking for a picture of one swimming, i have some somewhere :laugh:

One of the cats I had roaming round my old property had a thing for frogs. Sounded like someone was being murdered in the woods every night in spring :laugh:

My bulldog ate a adder once when he was about 4 it bit him on the gum his head swelled up almost three times normal size and cost me £400 at the vets
