Pro Sport .177 & Longbow .22

Recommended Posts

For is are two of my rifles. Im selling as I need to make some space in the cupboard so Im told by the other half and to be honest, dont need 5 rifles. Although Im about to purchase a new one, so 4 is ok :)

Anyway. First up.

Air Arms Pro Sport TbT .177.

This rifle was bought about 7-8 months ago and as you might imagine was originally right hand only. The rifle stock has been stripped and re varnished with Danish Oil in the cedar colour and is completely ambi. The curl of the cheekpiece has been shaved off, allowing a left or right hand shooter to shoot the rifle, the line [as above] runs perfectly in line with the top of the action. I bought the rifle with this in mind as I always wanted a Pro Sport for the HFT courses and have used it for that reason.

Internally the rifle has been smoothed to within an inch of its life, with a tinbum kit installed and a v-mach piston seal supplied by big mac. I have kept the steel top hat [i can supply the TbT top hat as well] and there are no washers, however it does contain the delrin spring guide which is machined almost to well, at a perfect fit for the inner coils of the spring. The rifle has settled at a sweet 10.8FPE with 4.52 Fields. You hear that Pro Sports are sweet to shoot out of the box, and they are, but they can be made better as in this case and I would welcome any trial or inspection.

It has a Rowan Engineering match trigger fitted set with a short first stage and crisp early second stage, but this as you know can be adjusted to your pref.

The reason for selling, is really just that Ive fell out of love with it. The cocking lever has come a bit loose, and doesnt stay shut. Its something Ive sorted in the past, but cant really be bothered if Im honest and thought I could pass it on. Im only looking for about £200-230 for it for this reason. The rifle shoots absolutely impeccably which I can personally assure. Its just this reason thats it so cheap. For someone how knows how to adjust it, its rather a steal knowing how well it actually shoots.

Pick up only, although I always say that, and end up driving it to someone, but its has to be close by if your interested.

Second.

Webley Longbow Venom .22

I bought this rifle at this years shooting show. I noticed it on the shelf among loads of HW's etc and had a closer look. The rifle is in absolutely in mint condition for its age, with a walnut thumbhole stock, with thumb up position, and adjustable butt plate. I stripped the rifle but found that it was in such good condition, didnt want to do anything to it. It has been cronod @ 11.1 with 5.52 Fields with an average spread of about 6 FPS. Itll come with the HW mod up front, which works a flamin treat and a original muzzle break. There is no twang or typical springer sound, just a sweet thuck report when fired. The trigger is a set back curled job, with the same set up as the PS.

I was so happy when I got this and Im a bit reluctant to sell it, but its kinda a last in first out thing. I do actually want to keep it, but find that it would be better used elsewhere this summer.

I paid £230 for it, so Id be happy of offers around £170-160 as its hasnt been used to its full extent.

I wont go on about accuracy about either rifles. I dont really need too to you lot.

Haven't been on here in a while and haven't been shooting in a while so I'm deciding so sell some gear and focus on other things.
Firstly is my BSA lightning tactical xl in .177 comes with hawke hd 3-9x40 scope, one piece mounts and a LED ray gl2 torch with flip up red filter and buffalo river case.
Only fault with the gun is the front sling swivel is missing.
I also have a mad dog growler jacket in APG size medium
A top gun skeet vest size medium
      British army Dpm smock medium-large
British army issue jungle boots size 11
Large jack pike shooting hold all
British army cam net unsure of size but large enough for a personal hide
I would like to see £130 for the rifle but I'm open to offers for everything together in a bundle
Collection only for the rifle but the other items I can post and take paypal payments
      I'm in Warminster Wiltshire
      Thanks
