1St Proper Season Finished, Time For Some Fishing

Recommended Posts

Well that was sky's 1st proper season when we had a decent amount of rabbits on the ground, last season was crap due to mixy etc but travelled a little more this year and found some good spots. Decided to empty the freezer and defrost the last of the rabbits for the dogs. Need another freezer or 2 for next year especially now I've decided to keep my other bitch. Now to get the fishing gear all up together. What's your lot got planned for this summer?

Was gonna give it a go tonight myself but alternater has gone on my car, had a reconditioned 1 put on in June last year, but only had a 6 month guarentee :censored: I like most types of fishing myself and swap and change between.

Nice pic that.

I will be spending the summer schooling my young pup (10 weeks now). Getting her stock broken and familiar with ferrets. Probably have a few sessions carp fishing and take the dogs for a bit of company.

Good luck next season with your young bitch.

Only if there mackerel in tomato sauce lol I mainly do carp fishing, but am quite partial to some boat and shore too. Carping all over the south west boats from Beer and Porlock and shore from chessil beach. Used to go out from Barry on boat in channel but was a little too rough for me.. sick as a dog, offered to pay for the whole boat last time,b*****ds still wouldn't take me back. Never again lol

Cheers fella, I'll be keeping them well exercised, can't beat a nice walk about 9 o'clock on a summers evening. But gotta go for the 20lbcarp this year. Went for it last year ended up with 19's but no 20. Really gonna go for the bugger this year

Ohh big time luck plays a hell of a part, me and my mate went to a carp lake last year we were next to each other on swims 10ft apart. I had 367lb he had 80lb, out of all those fish I still didn't land my 20lbcarp target. Then as we were packing up some bloke came along jumped on the swim next to my pal and before we finished packing up pulled out a 20.5lb common! I was fuming
