I think it depends on the pup, and the situation, like is it just you and the 'pup', or do you have an experienced dog the pup can watch? or do you mean to actively participate?

in which case the sort of land, even the ground, dogs breeding/physical development, so many other things, like the dogs mentality, it's a very broad question and unanswerable without knowing the variables matey.

Only rabbits on the ground now have survived a winter of being hunted so for the most they are the strongest, wisest, best call them what you will,a pup of 6 months could be made to look foolishly silly by such critters..as Johnny said just hold your horses until September when everything will be in your pups favour..there ain't no rush, plenty of dogs ruined by being entered too young..better still you have an older dog to work so its not as though you haven't a dog to go to war with..good luck with the pup matey..

Easy answer, get rid of the dogs as it obvious you don't know what you are doing, and take up a different hobby pal.thats 1 reason why the game is knackered and decent lads have stopped coming on here atb with what ever you choose.

What a complete bellend- I suppose u come out the womb with a lamp n lurcher in hand didn't you... The mans asking for advice and then cocks like you get your ten pence worth in. Tool! To young yet mate, 11mnths I usually start them, depending on there mentality, but there's no rush in entering them
