toby63 1,236
its just that ive read on other sites that you should take the off and empty them if not using for a while to stop the seals getting done in . and in the hw manual it says the same ?? Quote Link to post
Flipper_Al 1,012
Leave them on, guess you might need to define a while, if your not going to use the rifle for 6 months I can see the point, or you just get out and use it more lol Edited January 4, 2015 by Flipper_Al 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,982
I think you find ,to keep the o rings from deteriorating ,you have to keep it full with air Quote Link to post

tillylamp 1,969
hi, to be honest, I've never heard of anyone taking the air cylinder off for storing an air rifle for any length of time, all I have ever done....(if I'm not going to be using it for a while)...is fill the gun up to its recommended full poundage and leave it sitting in the cupboard, if all the seals are good it should stay full for many months at a time, mine does, as mine was a AA s410 I wouldn't have thought it would be any different for a hw100 or any other make, I think you would be fine if you decided to do it this way. thanks tilly Quote Link to post
