I recently treated myself to a Lightforce striker 170 lamp because it came up at the right price.

 

It's not the one with the built in dimmer but I didn't expect it to be for the price I paid. I'd like to add a dimmer to it, but why on earth are they £30-£40?

 

I've seen many in-line dimmers you can wire in for a couple of quid. Is it the name you're paying for or isn't it as simple as my electrical knowledge would have me believe?

Either way, sort the wiring out where it goes into the handle or it will pop out.

I used a speed controller for a pigeon magnet wired to the battery pack it worked well

hate srickers ...un reilble pieces off crap...seen too many fail on A nights lamp
