i joined moths ago and did their first accreditation course

still not heard anything back or had my details advertised

Waste of time and money.

 

The Guild have done more to damage molecatching that all the antis put together. Why would any right thinking person want to be a member of a club that works with the RSPCA?

 

Accreditation means nothing out there in the real world. If you want an online presence then join Mole Catcher UK, BTMR or the APMC.

 

Joining the Guild just gives them credibility they don't deserve and damages the long term future of mole catching.

Be very aware of this gentleman as he seems to have a an lack of respect for most pestcontrollers and a lot of respect for the money you put in his pocket. Take a look at his veiws on checking mole traps daily which is unworkable in practice on large contracts. The N.P.T.A. seem to have dropped him after a vote from members, but you have to make your own mind up. I have traped moles all my life and i dont have to pay someone else to tell me i can do it.

A mate of mine paid to get listed on their site – he actually paid extra because he was told the money goes to charity. He never heard back, emailed them a couple of times, still never heard back.

 

I doubt he’d want to take any further action, but I’ll PM you his details if you like.

Oh dear... Well where does one begin when talking about this bunch of clowns? Their founder is nothing more than a narcissistic, egotistical cretin who is in bed with the Arse SPCA. He slates pest controllers and talks about them as if they're the shit on his shoes. However, what he doesn't tell you is that he, himself runs a general pest control business... He reckons to speak for, and on behalf of 'all' mole catchers, not that you'll ever be asked your opinion regards anything.

 

The 'president' states that he's only president in name and has nothing to do with the running of the guild, yet he'll gladly use his presidency and the guild name to promote himself and his mole catching business...

 

That's just the beginning...

Glad I never bothered with them , I've just slowly built up the mole catching business by word of mouth , the dear old boy who taught me had been catching for 40 years plus and never been on a " course ",or been part of any mole catching organisation , maybe some of them work for some people , but they are not for me.
