Cops = Liars Will end up costing the man £3 million after the Suns lawyers have finished with him. Red Top scumbag rag that it is.

Brigzy 1,298
This all revolves around a man, Mitchell , thinking he is above the rules. He verbally abused the police on the gates of Downing Street. He admits it, the only thing he denied was using the word " plebs ", as in political terms, it's OK to berate people but not to talk down to the "ordinary " people, as this is political suicide. He sued the Sun for reporting what he said and a court of law rejected his defence and have said he did use the politically toxic word. These people are like the Russian aristocracy before the revolution, they will never learn until it costs them their political careers, but they just move on, like Mellors, who is now an advisor to Arab banks and arms dealers ! Mitchell thought the "establishment" would protect him, but a judge did the right thing and found against him.... But no worries, his mates will surround him, just as they have tried to do with Emily Thornberry, and he will move on to another well paid job. Oh, and Tomo , he was sacked from his position in the Conservitave party as Chief Whip, but is still an MP. Don't believe this nonsense about being sacked, you can't sack an MP. Rake aboot 4,936
Politically toxic ? are you kidding ? you sound like a socialist party member talking to newsnight. The cops lied all the way through the whole affair and more than one was hauled into answer for it. I think the fact he`s a Torie clouds your view.

Brigzy 1,298
Rake, do you honestly think I'm a socialist party member ? Then you must never read my posts ! I'd guess I'm ideologically to the right of Thatcher and about on par politically with Ghengis Khan ! lOL ! If you and Tomo are defending Mitchell then I despair for our country. Aren't we on here typical working class people simply getting on with our lives as best we can ? These people despise us and , until now, resorted to very expensive libel cases, which they couLd afford, to stop us saying what we think. Today's verdict is just a small step in redressing the balance. A very privelledged and rich man thought he could abuse people with impunity, he was proven wrong in a court of law. TOMO 29,775
I'm not defending the mp,,,,I just think the cop is a c**t for reporting such a trivial thing....

Mitchell sued the Sun for reporting what was said, as it would affect his political career. He instigated the court case, but was found against. He expected his pals in the establishment to back him up, but they didn't. They will throw their own to thE dogs if it is politically expedient to do so. He is finished politically, but don't worry about his future, it will already be sorted.
Brigzy 1,298
Tomo, I'm not absolving the police in this either ! Politicians and police swear allegiance to the Crown, and should be on the same side, but as this case was going on, the politicians, David Cameron and Theresa May, were busy tring to reduce policed pay, pensions, staffing levels etc, and the police unions turned against their historical freinds, the Tory Party, and yes, they may have used this case to put the boot in, but Mitchell gave them an open goal. If he is so stupid, what's he doing in a position of power, running the country ?
