All range finders should work in the dark the problem is seeing what your pointing it at.

Sorry Dave I said it in jest, at my age the only thing I do in the dark is sleep. I don't "get" this night vision stuff, never have really. Dawn and dusk has always suited me.

That and I am scared of the dark :whistling:

Thanks David. I did try it a few times, foxing years back. I have trouble with my eyes and find night vision quite difficult to maintain. Something to do with focus, lights not a problem, and I do use an illuminated reticle on one scope for bad light. I find myself moving back onto older ways now though, I like irons. Although use the scopes for killing stuff, as you point out woundings a no, no.
