Mosby 355
I used hydrogen peroxide a lot on dogs in the past but I've been advised against it. Peroxide prevents wounds from healing. If it is used, use it only one time on a wound. 1 Quote Link to post
DOGGINLAD 538
I usually get saline water into the bites straight away or a diluted dettol to wash them out an then dry cow syringe straight in... from this I very rarely see the dogs get infected or swelling an usually if I get that in soon as possible after that keep the scabs off an wash with salty water they heal quick... If it is used, use it only one time on a wound. Nothing prevents wounds from healing like an infection. Using anything but Saline on an uninfected wound would delay or prevent healing.
