Born Hunter 17,965
"Maybe I know what's best for people"... you make me sound arrogant gnash. Don't be so subtle with your insults/opinions of me, just come out and say it. It's my opinion on what's best for us, that's all. As you have your own... oh for gawd sake dont get all victimised mate i mean you as in " science/astronomers/futuristic we know best " types......not you Bornhunter off a hunting forum !.................Look,far as im concerned do all the searching around yous like....but if you bring it on top for all of us i didnt vote for it but im stuck with the backdrop...thats all im saying......as have the tribes in that article when they was happy doing what they was doing and effecting no one.....someone came along who knew best and they paid the price for it. It's not in my nature to be a victim, I'd hope I've made that very clear in this topic. But I do like straight talking, so you'll have to forgive me for pulling you up on that. But we've cleared that misunderstanding up now. And I appreciate the view you have... its shite when some other culture comes along and wipes out another. But it does happen, same as natural disasters that wipe out civilisations. Difference between our views is that I see being proactive a benefit. That doesn't mean we have to be the conquorers, just advanced enough to not be the poor f****r that gets wiped out. Those threats aren't bounded by our Earth. Being comfortable and knowledgeable of what's out there is only sensible and beneficial imo.

It's alright, the former heavyweight boxer/bodybuilder/hard f****r is safe behind his keyboard... believe me, if this 5'8" physics geek was in front of him he'd be in trouble! I've got equations and formulae for stuff like that. LOL ps. That's light hearted humour at my own expense before anyone thinks I'm actually trying it on.

You being a bright kid i thought youd know who i was referring to.......yes of course it happens, that dont mean its fair and just.... i put humanity infront of knowledge all day long but like i say we dont make the rules we dont get a say in it whatsoever so if it did go tits up one day maybe the only thing left to search for will be our conscience.
