Never Seen It So Quiet

When I'm walking about this particular permission, there's quite a bit of wildlife to see. Usually when I'm having a fag/taking a piss/drinking a coffee, but last night there was nothing.

 

We got there at dusk and walked to the usual haunts, but in 2 hours, there wasn't one eye-shine. No rabbits, no foxes, nothing at all.

 

I'd have thought on an dry overcast night like that, it'd be heaving. I've never seen it that quiet.

 

Was I just unlucky or would there have been any other reason do you reckon?

Done the same thing at one of mine not a single eye bit annoying as it's a 40 min drive away

Nope. I'm the only one who shoots there and someone lives there so they'd know if I'd been beaten to it.

At first I thought it might be because I couldn't find my boots and had to use my tap dancing shoes.

i work at a large power station normally crawling with rabbits foxes ect but Tuesday night nothing thought we had tresspassers on site checked all the cameras nothing, last night back to normal very weird

I went out the other night with a mate whose a Morris dancer, never saw a bloody thing.......weird innit.

Last night was thick fog here even if you could get out the lamp. Would of been nearly useless but there wasn't much about anyway
