morton 5,369
What decent collors out there lads? Remote controlled Fools gude to training, the vast majority of dogs don,t need the shock treatment to train them, the vast majority of dog owners that use them do,best way to ruin a dogs education is to put a shock collar on it,the small minority of dogs that will benefit from such collars are seldom encountered by the people that use them.

Blackbriar 8,569
We bought one off Amazon, for the Mastiff X. She'd bark at any little sound she heard, day or night ,to the point that the neighbour spoke to me about it. Voices, car doors, pretty much anything would set her off - you know that ' alarm - raising' bark ! The collar cured her inside 2 days, but I have to be at pains to point out that we only used it as an aid to stop her once she'd started barking, to break her out of 'the zone' - NEVER as a punishment ! You still have to put the work in yourself. Also, we only ever used the vibrate function and the sound function - I personally am very uncomfortable using the shock setting on her. Anyway, it's made by Esky and you get 2 collars, 1 remote, change out of 40 quid if memory serves, and like I said 3 different functions
Blackbriar 8,569
I've still got the box somewhere - I'll dig it out and PM you the exact name if you like, mate. (They do a single collar version too) Edited August 17, 2014 by Blackbriar
