Waz 4,293
Anyone clued up on this sort of stuff? In the past we've had HDMI cables to watch streaming films on the big telly, but we've had to shut down the p.c. plug it all in and then turn the p.c. back on, same in reverse, 2 cables packed up probably because they are getting pulled about. So just wondering if there is switchable/splitter type of gizmo we should get, as we are after ordering a new hdmi cable. Or other option? With a young baby, staying in is the new going out (again!) LOL. Cheers.
walshie 2,804
Om my telly there's a channel called PC-RBG. I can only watch stuff off my PC on that channel. Don't have to reboot or anything.

We got a dvd player that has a hdmi output. Out of the dvd, into the laptop. No turning off what so ever. Handy when you want to show a group a video without all having to sit on each others lap.
